A Guide to Living like Désamère

  1. Give up cars, use less electricity, moderate appetites

  2. Respect animals, rocks, and plants. Remember: all souls are the same size. You are no better than the planet

  3. Don’t wait for the government to tell you what to do

  4. Don’t want what you are told to want. Don’t be tempted. The truth is in you

  5. Realize that all of our human contrivances are nothing

  6. Find the base of our communality

  7. Go into the desert

The world is over, it never existed that way, the world is a shining bird flying bearing the dark sun on its neck, the world is half-mask animal eyes, the pearl born in no time

Snagged in human manners again. Is that reality? Not in face of collapse of ecology.

I don’t contain more of anything, I’m certain.
